We are acutely aware of the strain on local services, with tight budgets and huge caseloads. We believe our service can help lighten this burden by providing a clear, proactive, and timely approach that minimizes conflict and focuses on resolution.

A Safe Space for Communication: We know that navigating complex systems can be stressful, leading to frustration. Unlike many official entities that provide explicit warnings about conduct, we offer our clients a safe space to vent without judgment. We recognise that the true stressors for professionals are often not from clients but from corporate pressures and heavy caseloads stressors we've mitigated by taking on manageable caseloads and an individual approach to each case. This allows us to offer our clients the empathy and patience they deserve, creating a better working dynamic for all involved.
Client Autonomy and Consent: At Support Humans, we believe in client autonomy. We give our clients choices and maintain their control at every stage. We make a point of not sending a single email or making any contact without a client's explicit, written informed consent at each stage.
Accessibility and Empowerment: Our commitment to accessibility extends beyond just our services; it's about empowering people. We provide education, training, workshops, and courses that teach individuals to advocate for themselves. Even after this education, they are not left alone. We offer ongoing support, help with correspondence, and, when necessary, will countersign and send letters on our letterheaded paper baring our logo standing with them to help ensure their voice is heard.
Tailored Support for the Working Person: We have deliberately structured our services within and around usual business hours to meet the needs of working clients and their families, ensuring they can access the support they need without sacrificing their professional commitments.
Our unique approach, built on empathy and education, often leads to our clients becoming ambassadors for our mission. We believe that lived experience is invaluable education, and some of our clients may even go on to become Support Human advocates themselves.
